As I'm the leader of the art and creativity committee, our HOD  gave us as assignment of te commute to do analysis of the whole festival we had done and to see whole report click here ......

Maharaja krishnkumarsihji bhavnagar University has organized Youth Festival 26-27-28 Oct 2018. This Youth Festival host is ‘Takshsila institude of Science and Management’. Normally Youth Festival is for Students, Students are participant and show his/ her abilities, skills.

Generally Youth Festival is for entertainment, enjoyment, shown the skill and abilities of students but as a student of English Literature and criticism, Dr. Dilip Barad sir has given a task to observing the events and apply the Terms and theory on the event. Like,

Poetry recitation .....

.On the( 26-10-18)first day, Firstly I attended  સ્વરચિત કાવ્યપઠન which was at Shri Krushnlal Shridharinj SahityManch at Gujrati Department MKBU. Anchored by Himal Pandya Sir and then by Harish Mahuvakavar sir. There were many participants and they write and recite also  well in there own astyle . Subject of their poems was…

• Na vrsela vrsad nu git
• Vany Kanya na Sanvedno

Common theme in many poems was about Significance of Friendship and as Judge Firdoz Dekhaiya told that it’s all about immature poems and real beauty is in this. Here I’m putting some photographs of poems of that day.
Here i observation that many of them are deeply connected with there write-ups ( poem) or અછાંદસ also 2 write ... It's also one type of poem ... Where no rhyme ... But also we enjoy and feel ... 

Here we can connect with theory of depersonalisation ... Which was by ..

Theory of Depersonalisation

This is the second part of his essay. The artist or the poet adopts the process of depersonalisation, which is "a continual surrender of himself as he is at the moment to something which is more valuable. The progress of an artist is a continual self sacrifice, a continual extinct of personality". Here in this essay, Eliot gives importance to poetry rather than the poet which is depersonalisation. Depersonalisation is a dream like feeling of being disengaged from your surroundings where they seem "less real" than they should. Depersonalisation as a "disturbing sense of being's separate from oneself, observing oneself as if from outside, feeling like a robot or automaton". Theory of depersonalisation consists self sacrifice and extinction of personality.

"The more perfect the artist, the completely separate in him will be men who suffers and the mind which creates".

General meaning of this can be- the action of diversing someone o something of human characteristics or individuality psychiatry meaning,a  state which one's thought and feeling seem unreal or not belong to oneself. Eliot compares it to a chemical process. When two gases Oxygen and Sulphur dioxide are mixed in the presence of a filament of platinum (can also be called mind of poet), they form sulphurous acid. This combination takes place only if the platinum is present, nevertheless the newly formed acid contains no trace of platinum and the platinum itself is apparently unaffected; has remained inert, neutral and unchanged. Mind of the poet is the shred of platinum. The more perfect the artist, the more completely separate in him will be the man who suffers and the mind which creates the more perfectly the mind digest and transmute the passions which are its material. Poetry is not a turning loose of emotions, but an escape from personality. Only those who have personality and emotions know what it means to want to escape from these things.

       People who suffer from severe depersonalisation say that it feels as if they are watching themselves at from a distance without having the sense of complete control. Even though depersonalisation is harmless, it can be extremely disturbing for the person experiencing it. Symptoms of depersonalisation order-

- feeling as if you are watching yourself as an observer- as if you are watching your life from a distance.

-feeling that you are not in a control of your actions.

- feeling disconnected from your body.

- out-of-body experiences.

- feeling as though you are in a dream.

- feeling that everything around you is unreal.

- being able to recognize that these are only feelings and not reality.

Eliot does not deny personality or emotion to the poet only, he must depersonalize his emotions. There should be exit notion of his personality. This impersonality can be achieved only when the poet surrenders himself completely to the work i.e to be done and the poet can be known what is to be done.

By “Spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings”, Wordsworth opines that poetry is a matter of mood and inspiration. Poetry evolves from the feelings of the poet. Poetry’s source is the feeling in the heart, not the ideas of the intellect. A poet cannot write under pressure. In this regard, poetry flows out of his heart in a natural and fluent manner. Deep emotion is the basic condition of poetry; powerful feelings and emotions are fundamental. Without them great poetry can not be written. But T. S. Eliot in hisTradition and the Individual Talent rejects Wordsworth's definition of poetry and holds the idea that a writer should be impersonal and his writings should be devoid of personal emotion and feelings.

Emotion Recollected in Tranquility

To begin with Wordsworth’s words, “I have said that poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings; it takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquility.” At first glance, these two statements seem contradictory but Wordsworth’s theory of poetry involved the fusion of the two statements. In a sense powerful feelings and profound thought make poetry perfect. Wordsworth told that the poet can’t rely on sensibility alone. He has to be a person who has also thought long and deeply. After that, a calm mind is equally necessary to furnish the past/ previous thoughts/ feelings.Here we find spontaneous overflow of feeling of poet by .Reading this poem !!

He who addressing his beloved one .. 

At first, the poet observes some object, character or situation. It sets up powerful emotions in his mind. The poet doesn’t react immediately. He allows it to sink into his mind along with the feelings which it has excited. Then comes the recollection of the emotion, at a later moment. The emotion is recollected in tranquility. There might be a time lapse of several years. Thus poetry originates in emotion recollected in tranquility and so ultimately the product of the original free flow of that emotion.

Next ,Competition  I have attended was Sugam Git and there were many participent who sung beautiful song . Basically Songs in Gujrati language and  songs and ghazals of Ramesh Parekh and Mahamnad Daikheya were most popular.Here i noticed that many of the student didn't prepared yet they are performing at some extent level wile you are performing you have to do lot many hard reas means practice of ur performance ... Here we have best stage to see how some are not able to perform well some are good enough some are participate just for exploe there talent ... ... So , it was an amazing session s i like the most notice so many things , as a learner of music i get to know that some singers mustaches , and some s awesome capacity i also try to be there but I can feel that how he\she feeling there because when u performing in singing competition .. musician and singer both have to be in apt rhythm ... Than and than audience and they make an atmosphere which they wants on their performance time ....

★One act play .....

Drama is defined as "just and lively image of human nature, representing its passions and humours, and the changes of fortune to which it is subject, for the delight and instruction of mankind." According to this definition, drama is an 'image' of' human nature' and that the image is 'just' as well as 'lively'. By using the word 'just' Dryden seems to imply that literature imitates (and not reproduces) human actions. For Dryden, poetic imitation is different from an exact, servile copy of reality, for the imitation is not only 'just', it is also 'lively'.

While David Daiches takes 'lively' to mean interesting—the antithesis to dull—R.A. Scott-James takes 'lively' to mean 'beautiful' and so delightful. The poet is a maker or creator, and he aims at making something more beautiful. He says, "the poet does not leave things as he finds them, but handles them, treats them, "heightens" their quality, and so creates something that is beautiful, and his own."

I have not attended this part of youth festival but as our department representating in this event so because of that I know one play named ..#Sikka ni 3 baju it has different theme .....

Firstly let me share my personal view that before I study in English literature at they time also love literature but by be with literature i fall in love with it ... Because  there are so many reasons because of  questions for knowledge , history of history , connerc to the current world ... Etc etc ....  Now a days we sees in cinemas that acting is taking the place of action. So it means acting is becoming difficult for the actors.but here in youth Festival we can explore our Creativity and show Our tallant ." Sikkani triji baju " Which was performed by my Department. ( Dept.of English ) Which was based on Third gender issues. It was a satire on society. How society becomes the reason of sorrow..Here is connection with tragedy define by our great Aristotle in his famous work politics

We can here find some rasa in the drama ... Kind raudra, veer, shrungar,bhayanaka here is the worst ending part of the play which gives golden effect to the whole play .....Here is the ending part of the play .... In images !! U can read 

How 3rd gender people's struggle and the story message that power of women in society ... What she can do , if her family also denies to be with her and if she habe to do something for her baby than no one can stop her by doing this  ... Salute to mother !! 

Here we can say by connecting with Aristotelian point of view that ...How play begins catharsis as new born baby who is by physically not match in this normal world ... How society trits mother and child .... And here is not galing acting happening because here we find that .... Mother struggles a lot for her baby and helps her to be live in this normal society !! Have her identity .... Her operations ... Etc .. etc .... Rekha’ is the main character of the play who is kinner or the third gender. This play made a ‘just and lively image which is Dryden talk about. When the third gender born the society does not accepted it so they make their society, like Rekha, kajal. When it born the kinner came and take it, why because of the society, the parents of the kinner, they want to live with it but the society force to leave it as Rekha’s parents leave him. However Rekha does not feel he is nothing or he is a third gender person but he believe that it’s a God’s Gift. Live a life with passion, he does not believe that it is a weak point. the subject of the play really given biggest moral. if we want to apply the Feminist criticism, we find the both of the example like they give freedom and also Ligation of family. In this play the character likes Sarda (Mother of tusar), Alpa (Sister of tusar) both are free to do as they want and the character of Mina (Wife of Tusar) is in ligation, she cannot take a decision. She wants to live with Kiran (Third Gender’s child)but Sarda and tusar doesnot want. Here we can also see some events of Rekha’s past (Psychoanalysis) like when he is in childhood his parents left him without telling him. This events was in his unconscious mind which he suffered a lot. This play is reflection of society of course today Government gives Rights for third gender but somehow this decision became a fail to real society (Rights of 377) still society does not give priority to it, still they does not want to give him employment, job etc. As I say I saw two Plays, which one is connected to historical concept.

Here we can see that how still in 21th century they have to survive for their identity ... That is the question ....??

Mono acting .... Nirali Dungarani 

In mono acting I have watched  2 performance. Which was mainly based on the theme of women struggle in male dominant society. The next  performance was quite good because it was reminded me the theory of Feminism. And one was excellent too,  in which she performed the role of lady hawker. How to be self dependent and  how to live the life on our own that was the theme of that performance. She acted very well by using the appropriate language and jesture. We can feel her pain ,  her cry , etc ... Make one atmosphere that really it's happening actually .....Wonderful perform e ...

There is one literary character of lady Macbeth ... Her acting and costume are somehow good for her performance acted well ... 

Western group song ..... Where we representative in this event of our department so, let me share my personal experience generally we are not participating in this youth fest this year but our hod . Dilip sir insisted that u all have to participate in youth fest not for just participating but also to get information , to know about many more things like what to do by self performance feel how the performance has done .. enjoy ment, experience of people's , jujues,. Etc.. etc.. and  we participate in western group song even we don't know rules still we participate , we are me ,siddhi,jagruti,bani,dito,and vidhya, yes there are some differs in our voices because we don't know others ups and downs of voices where they are strong enogh or where they lacking but we started practice when last week of youngest is near ... We choose 2 songs as per rules we have to present 2 songs one is nation identity song and one by choice but not from any film u can't choose if u choose and performs than u r disqualified but we choose 2 that are three colours and we are unity .. both are not from any of the films .... We have done our best also our dress code is different than all other participant because they may be think that black and white are the best and symbool of western songs singers ..... It's not for that ... And there is no need of dress code because judjice not gave marks from ur outlook but from ur performance ur combination of singing , ur unity , ur combination with player ..... Here i also sharing that in last moment of our performance we haven't player we practice our own . But but there is someone who helps us a lot who is be with us and in only 20 min before our perfpperfor he matched with our performance and we perfomfpewell he is god for us at there day and  reason of our best performance is our unity , best help by dhaval bhai diyoraand his guitarist friend without this both brothers i can't imagine that what happen at performance time ... But we have done our best and the result of the performance we got 2 prise in thi event ...... 

We are just participate for our enjoyment but unknowingly we got 2 price that moment was awesome ... At that time I remember my father's words that don't be participate for price but for ur enjomnet , to know about things happening in youth fest without participating u  can't know personally ....

Last day .....

Rangoli, Painting, Cartooning, Collage and Installation:

Again, on final day of youth festival, I have attended Exhibition of these all arts. In Rangoli, all Rangoli were traditional but one from my department was mixing of traditional and Digital world.Theme Nature and technology together. The Nature and technology both are the important part of human life. In this Rangoli both is equally important. Now days technology is most significant part of human life. 

This Rangoli is reflection of English Department.

 In on the spot painting, there were many paintings related to #Metoo movement and about digital world. Students drew advantages and disadvantages of digital world and some painting about traditional classroom and Smart classroom. 

Collage and Cartooning also very interesting related to current issue in satirical tone. I didn't find and modern arts like art of Dadaism and Surrealism. At last, all arts were conveyed very good messeges to society through these arts.

Installation is the new added compitition from last year and world wide famous compitition for best creative outcomes. In this youth festival there were also few creative installation. Which was connected with theme of 'Swatch Bharat Swasth Bharat' means on Cleanliness and 'SarvDharm Sambhav'. Where we  participated in this event in group there is 4 participants me ,kavitaa,jagruti,karan bhai ....

We enjoyed. Lot and learn how others doing in there imagery creativity and how they presenting there ideas best our of west ......

 here we choose sarva dharm sambhav ..... As symbols we used small bottles , sheet paper , and so many things we sure our creativity by exploring modern vier observer have to thing of this interpretation by their own .... The idea of vasudhaev kutumbkm .......

We laugh, we talk , we observation a lot lEarn that some are coping ideas from Google , some are creative and some yung things , which harms  someone in pollution , they can avoid  but they know that but still they doing that ...... Forget it ..... It's done now ....... 

But we learn so many things by this event ....... Good experiment .....Of participating ...

Feeling nostalgia because absence of my seniors , that time ... But also learn from my juniors their creativity . New ideas ,abilitys a , etc etc there hidden talants... Overall enjoyed a lot 3 days are memorable forever .......

Here the most interesting and helpful thing was live streaming of events which I can say more helpful for people's who can't join and attain all events .... And I also watched this and be there live becse 2 day I have to go in one ceremony there me and my cusinsco watch live events ... So , i can say I attain both things in one time with the help of digital platform ...

2 thing is new and accepted by all managing professors , students and there is no chance to cheating in marking ... This idea given by our new vice chancellor  #Girish vaghani sir  it was an well responded idea because there is no chance of partiality with participants .... 

Idea is each and every unit( dept/collage ) given code according to this name and identity of institute hide  so , it's great thought and helps to students and judjice to give natural remarks and vvtes to participants....

This  is what I observe from many of the events of the youth festival ...... And my personal experience in experiment of participating in 2 events ....... Thank you so much for visiting .....
